Director of Process Development and Technology Transfer
Orthobond, an innovative medical devices company specializing in coating technologies to improve patient outcomes, is looking for an energetic, talented individual to head up the Company's efforts as we move processes from the laboratory to the manufacturing floor.
Orthobond works at the interface of Chemistry, Surface Science, Materials Engineering and Biology. As such, the successful candidate will possess one or more of the following:
An advanced degree in Materials Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field
A minimum of five years' experience modifying and optimizing laboratory scale processes for commercial purposes
Demonstrated experience in moving laboratory processes to the market
Demonstrated excellence in collaborating with a diverse array of scientists with multiple academic backgrounds
Experience in the design and development of processes for manufacturing medical devices using principles of process excellence
