Ashley Furniture HomeStore of Central NJ, an exciting fast paced and diverse company based in North Brunswick, NJ is looking for a high energy, mature minded, well organized part time Executive/Personal Assistant to support their dynamic and driven CEO/President.
Position requires exceptional organizational and time management skills, the ability to work at odd hours, often even from home. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly anticipate a person's requirements, be very active, energetic, and passionate about the company, its products and purpose.
Individuals who are Team Oriented but willing and able to work individually will have the greatest success. The position combines the responsibilities of a Personal Assistant, and Project Coordination, while dealing with internal and external top executives, as well as interacting with all levels of management as well as support staff within company to complete projects on time and on target.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to administrative and operational work of various degrees of difficulty and complexity:
Handles the daily activities of the CEO/President or other executive they are working with
Heavy management of multiple calendar and appointments, including scheduling and managing large and/or complex meetings with senior executives
Assist with the preparation of presentations using software, graphics, diagrams and charts
Respond appropriately to emails, texts, phone calls, etc. in a manner which reflects an ability to discern between critical and less urgent matters
Coordinate and control all phases of business and personal travel (domestic and international)
Process and administrate various types of paperwork, applications not limited to business vouchers, American Express, etc.
Provide summarized reports from industry and business meetings, as well as articles related to the company's Operation System
Manage special projects, not limited to department meetings, vendor trainings, company summit, construction projects
Maintain various areas of the facility, not limited to the CEO's office, conference rooms, etc.
Personal assistant duties to include daily errands and activities, bill paying, processing insurance claims, scheduling personal appointments etc.
Assist in the tracking and monitoring of personal investments, pensions and financial records
Manage and review family and business insurance plans and policies
Supporting and monitoring several properties
Assisting with the purchasing of personal and business gifts
Creating and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems and records
Qualifications
Attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through
Ability to assemble, analyze and summarize information quickly
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint, graphics skills a plus
Ability to write professionally and demonstrate excellent proofreading skills
Advanced organizational planning and problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
High level of motivation and positivity, strong work ethic and pride in one's work
Ability to work under tight time constraints
Ability to juggle multiple assignments and able to shift from projects and activities as priorities shift
Flexibility in work hours with availability late day/evenings/ weekends if needed
A minimum of 5 years practical experience working for a Senior Executive, or a team of Senior Executives in fast paced role that requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision
College or university degree or equivalent experience
Notary Public is a plus
Organizing, cataloging, inventorying of assets, collectibles and antiques a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
