The Product Manager is responsible for product requirements definition, planning, and release management activities of our suite of products. The role includes working closely with the Head of Product Strategy to outline the product roadmap, meeting with prospects and customers to understand the market and elaborate product capabilities, and interacting with the R&D to translate the business and product requirements into technical requirements.
The Product Manager is responsible for crafting the messaging and positioning for the products and leading the product throughout all phases of the product lifecycle. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into business benefits are crucial. In this role, the Product Manager will act as the SME (subject matter expert) of the line of products and will transfer the knowledge to the sales and customer success teams.
? Work closely with the Head of Product Strategy in translating the product concepts and vision into a set of product capabilities, defining product roadmap, and setting development priorities
? Be the voice of prospects and customers - meet with prospects and customers, listen to their pain points, and turn their needs into product capabilities and enhancements
? Produce BRDs (Business Requirements Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) in the form of user stories, epics, and themes
? Interact with R&D Manager/Architect and QA Lead to jointly schedule product capabilities and backlog for software development and testing
? Act as the product owner for agile plans, develop acceptance criteria for sprint schedules, and coordinate customer releases with SaaS operations and customer success teams
? Develop and maintain product literature and documentation for prospects and customers in the form of fact sheets, whitepapers, user guides, FAQs, product manuals, and training materials
? Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the suite of products in the market
? Sales Enablement - Communicate the value proposition of the software products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your software products
REQUIRED SKILLS
? At least 5
years of enterprise software product management experience
? Demonstrated success in defining and launching new software products and releases
? Passion to address customers' pain points through
? Technical background with experience in enterprise-class software and Responsive Web Design (RWD) technologies
? Proven track record of writing product manuals for business users and technical requirements for technology professionals
? Very strong written and verbal communication skills
? Must have strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
? Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changes
? Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
? Keen attention to detail
EDUCATION
Bachelors in business or marketing (MBAs preferred) with specialty/minor in computer science and engineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
